KAIREI (Hidden Ranges) Index

Ayako Miura's historical novel Kairei (Asahi Shinbunsha, 1981) was translated by Deborah Davidson, and published in English as Hidden Ranges by Dawn Press in 1993. Unhappy with editorial changes and additions that were made without the approval of either author or translator, Davidson has since revised and abridged the original translation to the form you see here.
